In December last year P4P was approached by the manager of a charitable family support organisation after she was notified that the local authority decided to change two of their core services from a Service Level Agreement to a competitive tender.
The manager contacted P4P after we visited the local area and developed links with the local Third Sector Interface as part of P4P’s programme of initial engagement.
It was agreed that P4P would support the organisation both to prepare for the tender prior to its publication and with planning and writing the tender once the organisation had been invited to quote by the local authority.
The organisation submitted the tender in early March 2017 and were notified they were successful within 2 weeks.
The organisation manager provided the following feedback – “P4P allowed us to be tender-ready
ahead of time of publication. This allowed us to focus on writing the actual tender when it was
published. You cannot underestimate the time needed to pull together a tender. I cannot
recommend them highly enough. They were quick to respond to any queries I had and were able
to give clear information that enabled me to submit a winning tender.”
