Want to more about the Pupil Equity Fund and what it means for social enterprises?

PEF was first introduced in 2017/18 to support the Scottish Attainment Challenge. This aims to achieve equity in educational outcomes for young people, ensuring that every child has the same opportunity to succeed.

Headteachers can use the funds allocated to schools to purchase a range of services from social enterprises which lead to improvements in literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing.
