Last month, P4P launched an exciting new webinar series, ‘In Conversation With’, where we will be joined by a range of individuals and organisations from the social enterprise and wider third sector who are successfully collaborating with others or are supporting those who are collaborating.
This could be for a variety of different purposes, but may include to achieve greater social or environmental impact, generate more income, develop new services, or respond to an emerging need (such as through the COVID-19 pandemic).
For October’s webinar we are delighted to be joined by Hannah Justad, Executive Director of the Glasgow Connected Arts Network (Glasgow CAN), which is leading on the development of an interesting new collaboration, the Glasgow Arts Partnership (GAP).
The Glasgow Arts Partnership is a consortium of Participatory Arts organisations and freelance creative practitioners and producers across Greater Glasgow, covering a range of disciplines and backgrounds.
The Glasgow Arts Partnership aims to connect Participatory Artists with communities across Glasgow City and beyond. Often barriers exist between small creative organisations or freelancers accessing tender or funding opportunities. By forming a consortium with a lead organisation who would lead on the applications and sourcing the opportunities, this barrier is lifted and more opportunities for collaboration are created.
The partnership pools together Glasgow CAN and its members’ expertise, skills and specialisms, submitting collaborative bids for arts-related tender opportunities or developing new impactful projects to help individuals and arts organisations achieve their aims and objectives, for which funding is sought.
The webinar will provide you with a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the Glasgow Arts Partnership’s plans, ask any questions you may have for Hannah and also find out how you can get involved.
