NHS Scotland – Furniture, IT and Walking Aids Supplier Workshop

NHSScotland has been working with ZWS to explore innovating with particular product groups to make them more sustainable through improving durability and longevity of product through design, repair, refurbishment, remanufacturing and responsible end of life recycling. To achieve this low carbon goal NHSS needs to work with its supply chain to transition from the existing “make, use, dispose” model towards a model which extends the life of the product and retains the material value at the end of life.

To further engage existing and new suppliers, and to build on the previous supplier engagement event held 23rd November, there will be more in depth engagement to explore future circular services.

Existing and new suppliers of furniture, IT and walking aids groups above should attend. Organisations who can provide local and national services to support the delivery on circular services, support agencies, NHSS practitioners and commodity managers.
