Meet the Team

Yvonne McBride


Yvonne manages the P4P team, coordinating the delivery of a dedicated programme of practical support to social enterprise and third sector organisations to develop partnerships and consortia to effectively respond to contracting opportunities.

She has significant experience in economic development, including social economy support. Her experience includes a range of public and third sector management work, employability projects and European funded projects including the EQUAL – Social Economy Scotland project and ERDF – Business Competitiveness.

Jennifer Paterson

Support Officer

As P4P Support Officer Jennifer is responsible for the maintenance of systems and processes, coordinating events, promotional/marketing materials as well as acting as a support function for the team.

Jennifer was previously an Administrator and Finance Assistant with Senscot Legal where she was responsible for managing the internal workings of the office, providing administrative support for the team, and dealing with financial systems.

Claire McLaughlin


Claire’s role is to provide a dedicated programme of practical support to third sector organisations in identifying and responding effectively to emerging tender and other business opportunities and support organisations to develop partnership and consortia approaches.

Claire is a highly experienced social economy adviser with Premier Adviser accreditation (SCQF Level 8 Diploma Business and Enterprise Support), previously working with Business Gateway Lanarkshire. At Business Gateway she helped social enterprises develop business plans as well as providing advice on income generation, procurement and financial management.

Neil Young


Like Claire, Neil provides practical support to third sector organisations in responding to emerging tender opportunities and in developing partnerships and consortia.

Neil’s background is primarily in business development and tender writing with social enterprises, most recently with the Wise Group. While at the Wise Group he played a key role in successfully securing income from a range of sources including Fair Start Scotland, Work Able Scotland, Glasgow and Dundee Employability Pipeline contracts, and CashBack for Communities. Prior to the Wise Group Neil worked with Advice Direct Scotland and its social enterprise subsidiary Social Enterprise Direct.
